Role Overview
The Work Integrated Learning (WIL) programme is a 12-month contract designed to provide students and recent graduates with practical workplace experience. This role allows you to apply your academic knowledge in a professional setting, enhancing your employability through hands-on training and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with specific projects and daily operational tasks.
- Support administrative functions, including reporting and documentation.
- Participate in specialized training sessions and mentorship programs.
- Shadow experienced professionals to learn industry best practices.
- Help solve problems and perform data analysis to support business decisions.
- Communicate with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
- Prepare reports and presentations using office tools.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and ethical standards.
Requirements
- Education: Currently enrolled or completed a B Eng Tech (S4/S5) at a University of Technology, specializing in Electronics or Industrial Engineering.
- Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen.
- Age: Preference will be given to applicants under the age of 35.
- Diversity: Preference will be given to persons with disabilities.
- Documentation: You must provide a recent confirmation letter from your institution, a certified Matric certificate, your academic record, and a copy of your ID.
- Other: Applicants must have no existing bursary obligations.
