Role Overview

The Work Integrated Learning (WIL) programme is a 12-month contract designed to provide students and recent graduates with practical workplace experience. This role allows you to apply your academic knowledge in a professional setting, enhancing your employability through hands-on training and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with specific projects and daily operational tasks.
  • Support administrative functions, including reporting and documentation.
  • Participate in specialized training sessions and mentorship programs.
  • Shadow experienced professionals to learn industry best practices.
  • Help solve problems and perform data analysis to support business decisions.
  • Communicate with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
  • Prepare reports and presentations using office tools.
  • Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and ethical standards.

Requirements

  • Education: Currently enrolled or completed a B Eng Tech (S4/S5) at a University of Technology, specializing in Electronics or Industrial Engineering.
  • Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen.
  • Age: Preference will be given to applicants under the age of 35.
  • Diversity: Preference will be given to persons with disabilities.
  • Documentation: You must provide a recent confirmation letter from your institution, a certified Matric certificate, your academic record, and a copy of your ID.
  • Other: Applicants must have no existing bursary obligations.
