Qualified Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant – Clicks Matumi Retail Centre

We are currently looking for two Qualified Post Basic Pharmacist Assistants to join our team at the Matumi Retail Centre in Mpumalanga. This is a full-time role focused on providing excellent pharmaceutical care and supporting the daily operations of our dispensary.

Role Purpose

In this role, you will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical services within your professional scope of practice. You will ensure all dispensary administration is handled efficiently and according to the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high standards of customer service and patient care.
  • Manage stock control efficiently, including the repacking of medicine and general administration.
  • Perform accurate compounding and dispensing duties.
  • Provide professional health advice to customers.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and ensure merchandise is displayed correctly.
  • Support the pharmacy team with daily operational requirements.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Matric with Mathematics (Essential).
  • Registration: Must meet the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) requirements for a Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of Over-the-Counter (OTC) products and pharmacy legislation.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and pharmacy operating systems.
