ABSA Group is a leading African bank with over 100 years of experience. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our 12‑month Unemployed Learnership as Trainee Financial Advisers. This programme will give you hands‑on experience in financial services and help you build a rewarding career.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in structured training and development activities.
- Apply learning to daily tasks and support team objectives.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance and quality.
- Meet training and performance targets.
- Engage fully in workplace activities aligned with your development goals.
- Attend all training interventions and complete required administrative tasks.
- Support customers and team members to maintain high service standards.
- Achieve sales targets and maintain productivity.
- Ensure confidentiality of client information and adhere to prescribed scripts.
FAIS Fit and Proper Requirements
Applicants should have an FSCA‑approved qualification and, ideally, a Regulatory Exam for Representatives (RE5). Additional training will be provided on the job.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma in Accounting (required).
- National Senior Certificate / Matric (Grade 12) (required).
- Preference for candidates with an FSCA‑approved qualification and RE5 experience.
