Job Description
The main purpose of this role is to provide safe, prompt and efficient delivery service to all store clients. You will ensure that all items are delivered without breakages or shortages.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver goods to clients.
- Keep the vehicle neatly packed.
- Prevent damages and breakages.
- Supervise and assist with loading.
- Perform daily inspection checks.
- Report any defects.
- Maintain the vehicle.
- Supply correct quantities and supplies.
- Reduce vehicle operating costs.
- Authorize delivery notes.
- Collect COD monies.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Uphold and promote the company values and culture.
Requirements
- Grade 12 education.
- Code 10 (Heavy Vehicle) or Code 8 (Light Vehicle) (<16001 kg).
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
