Admin Controller at HEINEKEN

HEINEKEN is the world’s most international brewer and a leading developer of premium beer and cider brands. We are currently looking for a dedicated Admin Controller to join our team in Worcester, Western Cape.

Role Purpose

In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial administration, office operations, and personnel-related tasks. You will play a key part in ensuring our budget processes and internal controls are managed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the annual operating expense (OPEX) budget and forecasting processes.
  • Perform monthly reviews of the OPEX budget and report on any variances.
  • Maintain monthly Internal Control Checklists (ICCs), including procurement controls.
  • Manage vendor purchasing and payments in line with the established budget.
  • Oversee the issuing of stock and prepare financial journals as required.
  • Manage general office administration and personnel documentation.
  • Ensure all monthly payroll information is submitted accurately and on time.
  • Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities.
  • Handle ad hoc administrative duties to support the team.

Requirements

  • A minimum of Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification.
  • A tertiary qualification in Commerce or a related field is highly preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar administrative or financial environment.
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office suite); experience with SAP is a strong advantage.
  • The ability to work accurately under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • A high level of integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Reliability regarding punctuality and attendance.
  • Willingness to work irregular hours when the job requires.
